There are many ways in which it can be said that Brain is the essential part of our body. So many situations and cases are associated with it. Foremost is the Brain Drain, which implies that the migration of brainy people to the other country in search of wealth, prosperity, and fame. Truly speaking, Brain Drain is the area where we actually immigrate the talent to other countries, unknown of the fact that they are actually wasting the investment done on them through their journey of higher education.
In the 19th century, a remarkable amount of brain drain has occurred from rural to urban areas and the most brain occurred to North America from Europe, and in modern times, from developing nations to the developed ones, especially after colonialism. Studies says that the Bran Drain occur less in less amounts to large countries like China, Japan, India, Russia, etc., and the number could be less than five percent of all graduates. Some benefits are also associated with the Brain Drain, like the huge foreign exchange that the people send to their native place. Lately, the World Bank’s chief economist and senior vice president for development economics, Francois Bourguignon, says that the household survey evidence presented in the volume demonstrates a direct link between migration and poverty reduction.

The Reverse Brain Drain just does the opposite, like human capital (mind boggling people) relocate from developed countries to lesser developed countries, so that they can apply their skills and conduct research. Like scientists, engineers, and other professionals develop new things, so that their work can be appreciated and they can achieve great goals and come out with flying colors, which are limited in their homeland. The people from countries like China and India are equally motivated to return to their home countries due to rapid economic growth, increasing living standards, and increasing opportunities in their home country.
